CROSS
Beautiful detail perfectly describes the crucifix that is most likely from the Orthodox Church. It appears to be mid 18th Century and stands 11" high and 4 1/2" wide. It makes a very calming and perfect accessory for a chest or table in a bedroom. SOLD SKEWERS
Although these are not a matched pair, they are two very nice iron skewers that are 18th Century and a must have to hang on the fireplace. The longer one is 9 1/4" in length and the other is 7 1/2" long. $95.00 each IRON TRAMMEL
This type of trammel is used in a cooking or walk in fireplace to hold a large kettle. If you have a higher ceiling and want to hang a lantern of some sort, these are just the perfect hanging device. A wonderful form with a very nice surface. SOLD TOBACCO CONTAINERS
Engraved heavily on both sides of this brass tobacco tin the elaborate work is on just 5 1/2" long x 3 1/4" wide size. The one side shows a happy theme while the other side is somewhat a sad scene with a skull and body. The detail is wonderful including a small diamond pane window. SOLD
Yet, another really fabulous tobacco tin.... Both of these were what are called pocket size and were carried with the owner. This one is a very neat one as it has both the place for the tobacco but also has a mirror directly under the top. So, yes, two areas that open. See the pictures for a full understanding. Nice design and also a very neat thin piece of worn mirror glass. SOLD Contact: Antiques at Hillwood Farms | ||
