Your window to the world of great early antiques.

BIG NEWS:  My cabin will be featured in the Winter2017 issue of A Simple Life Magazine. Hope you will enjoy the pictures and article.

This is a very LONG overdue update. I have spent the last few months doing lots of shows.....4 to be exact. It was so fun seeing so many of you at the shows. My last show for this run was in Arcola, IL.  My booth is pictured below. If you have never come to Arcola or the other shows in that area, it's an Antique Happening and a must do.

                          EMBROIDERED ITEMS

For those of you that love early as I do, you will love and appreciate the work of Charisse Goforth. She is  self taught and I think her work is totally awesome. It certainly expresses her love of the 17th Century. Please look at the page SERVICES AND RESTORATION to see other wonderful examples of these hand stitched bags and table squares. All of her information is on the page.

NOTE: Be sure to check Charisse's new item......

                            A HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Oh ,how we LOVE satisfied customers.  Eddie wasted no time finding the new chair which, of course, his Mom bought just for him from Antiques at Hillwood Farms and she spent one afternoon sewing the very good looking chair pad for added comfort. Boy, Eddie you have quite the life! AND.... what a great Mom to do all that for her fury friend.

                           A HAPPY FRIEND

Hi, my name is Tater. My Mom and Dad left me home to go to the Country Spirit Antique Show in Arcola, Illinois. I was so sad until they came home with a chair and comfy linsey pad they bought from Antiques at Hillwood Farms just for me. Wow...thanks. Don't I have the BEST parents.
